AHMEDABAD, Dec 3: It was a day of upsets for the upset makers. Those coming from obscurity were sent back there in a day’s time. The seed-scalper of yesterday – Martin Hromec, Jaoa Cunha-Silva and Ota Fukarek – failed to do an encore in their third round matches on the third day of the ATP Challenger Tennis Tournament at the AGETA courts here.

Sixth seeded Frederic Fontang of France lost to unseeded Steven Randjelovic 1-6, 2-6.

Eighth seed Eyal Ran was knocked out by unfancied Goichi Motomura of Japan 6-2, 3-6, 1-6.
