RAJKOT, Nov 16: Local police recovered four aborted foetuses from an insane woman here on Monday.

According to police the four aborted foetuses, said to be four to six months old, were recovered from the small tenement of one insane woman Paru hailing from Zinzuda in Surendranagar who has been living near the railway station for sometime. They were kept by her packed in polythene bags in her tenement.

It was only after a call given by a resident of the area that police came to know about the case. The police were informed that the insane woman had been publicly displaying her possessions.

On contacting the authorities at the women’s wing of the local civil hospital, police were told that such aborted foetuses that are with the civil hospital are normally handed over to the Municipal Corporation authorities for disposal.
