Four gangsters allegedly belonging to Arun Gawli group were nabbed by Agripada police as they were about loot a jewellery shop in the area. Police noticed saw five men approaching the bakery in a suspicious manner.

Sub-inspector Koyal immediately identified two of the men as Ratan Damre and Deepak Shirke, members of the Gawli-faction.

The police overpowered the gang and recovered 2 choppers and a `Rampuri’ knife. Other three gang members have been identified as Chandrashekar Langekar and Raju Patel. However, one of the accomplices identified as Riaz gave the police a slip, police sources added.One killedn KIDS’ play led to the murder of one person last night. Four persons were arrested on charges of murder in Chandivali. According to the police, Ashok Prasad Yadav was assaulted with lathis at 9 p m outside his room in Manibhai chawl.
