HYDERABAD, MARCH 21: Four Naxalites, including two women, of the CPI (ML) Praja Partighatana group surrendered to the police at the Warangal district police headquarters on Tuesday.

The Naxalites surrendered before the Warangal district Superintendent of Police A V Prabhakar Rao "due to disillusionment over party activities and police counselling", according to a release from the office of the Director General of Police here.

The ultras, M Madhav Rao alias Shyam (27), M Raju alias Uppu Swamy (23) and M Venkavva alias Padmakka, were involved in several offences, including murders and planting of landmines while M R Laxmi (21) was working as courier to Vijay Dalam of the Praja Pratighatana Group, the release said.
