Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly today sustained an injury in his lower back while fielding during the Pakistan innings and was treated by team physio Andrew Leipus.Ganguly sustained the injury when he dived to stop an off-drive by Pakistani captain Inzamam-ul Haq off L Balaji. He lay on the ground writhing in pain for a few minutes before being stretchered off. It was too early to say whether he would be able to play in the first Test beginning in multan on March 28.Although the skipper was in intense pain he has not taken to the hospital and later came out to the field after India’s win.
