The BJP headquarters at 11 Ashok Road is undergoing renovation to confirm to, as the grapevine says, vaastu. Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik was a high-profile victim of the revamp process when he called on party president Rajnath Singh last week. The normal left gate that used to be the entrance has been closed, but the high commissioner’s car drove straight toward it. It took a few minutes before the driver realised the change and had to manage a reverse on the busy road.
