Geet recovers to win three on the trot

NEW DELHI, July 27: Former world billiards champion Geet Sethi managed to win his fourth group A round-robin league match in the Centre Point Billiard Pool Tournament at the Community Centre, Krishna Market, Kalkaji here today.

After losing his initial league encounter to Delhi’s Rajat Taneja on the first day yesterday, Sethi won his other three matches and has to play just another game against Anuj Uppal of Delhi in his final league engagement.

On Monday, Sethi beat Calcutta’s Philips Crizzle 5-4.

Feroz Khan and Loju Thukral, both from Delhi, have moved into the quarter-finals.
