Girls sweep top TYBCom positions

MUMBAI, June 16: Jean Fernandes from R A Poddar College of Commerce has topped this year’s TYBCom results. She scored 595 out of 700 with financial accounting and auditing as her special subjects.

While the second topper Mohini Bhatt (580 out of 700) is from Mulund Colege of Commerce, Chitra Saligram, also from Poddar College, stood third after scoring 579 marks. The pro-vice chancellor of University of Mumbai, Dr Naresh Chandra, today informed that of the 42,489 students who appeared for the commerce examination this year, 5,131 scored a first class while 10,845 candidates secured a second class. The pass percentage in the examination stands at 52.28 per cent.
