Ukraine rallied from two sets down to wear down African champions Tunisia 23-25, 23-25, 25-23,25-23, 19-17 and retained the fifth Rashid International volleyball title.

Thrice champions India prevailed over Cuba 27-25, 28-26, 25-17 to finsh third.

Akhtar home bound
ADELAIDE:
Suspended Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been ordered to go home just a day after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said it had lodged an appeal with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to reverse the ban.

Pakistan team manager Brigadier Khawaja Mohammad Nasir said he had decided to send Akhtar home because the affair was affecting the team’s preparation for the upcoming One-day series.
