NEW DELHI, SEPT 21: N Gojen Singh, Geeta Manral and Sukumari are among the the 27 athletes who will represent India in the eighth Asian Junior Athletics Championships to be held in Singapore from September 30 to October 4. Releasing the list here today, Amateur Athletics Federation of India informed that the team will leave India on September 27.
Boys: 800m: Binu KM; 5000m: Gojen Singh; 10,000m: Shashi Prakash; 110m hurdles: Gurpreet Singh; Triple jump: Gurmit Singh; Shot put: Kuldip Mann, Kulwinder Singh; Hammer throw: Nirbhay Singh, Vinod Kumar; 10,000m walk: Gurdev Singh; 4x00m relay: Jipson Jacob, Rajpal, Arun PS, Ajay Singh Chowhan.
Girls: 200m: Vinita Tripathi; 1500m: Geeta Manral; Long jump: Jetty C Joseph; Discus: Saroj, Harwant Kaur; Hammer: Phul Pati; 4x100m: Mandip Kaur, Kalpana Reddy, S Geetha, Bindu, Vinita Tripathi; 4x400m: Vinitha Tripathi, Geetha S, Sukumari, Sanghamitra,Rajni.
