CHANDIGARH, Jan 4: Judokas from SD College, Hoshiarpur and Guru Nanak College for Women, Ludhiana dominated the men's and women's section, respectively, on the opening day of the Panjab University Inter-College men and women judo championship at PU Gymnasium Hall here today.Mandeep Kumar and Bhupinder bagged gold medals in the below 55kg and below 60kg categories, respectively, for Hoshiarpur. In the women's group Nimrata got the first gold medal for Ludhiana team in the below 48kg division while Charanpreet increased the tally by bagging first position in the below 55kg group.However, the most exciting bout of the day was between Shatabdi and Charanpreet in the below 55kg category in the women's section.
