NEW DELHI, OCT 18: The government today constituted a 21-member Cyber Regulatory Advisory Committee, consequent to notification of the Informtaion Technology (IT) Act 2000. The committee, formed to advise the government on various cyber regulation aspects, comprises members from several concerned ministries and other government departments.

Among the other members are the present Member Secretary of the Law Commission T K Vishwanathan, IT Secretary from states by rotation as well as the Director General of States by rotation, it said. Others include IIT Director by rotation, representatives from the three industry chambers and the senior director from MIT.
