BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today said that the relations between the UPA Government and the Opposition is at an all-time low now as the Congress with the help of the Left had launched a ‘hate-BJP’ campaign in the country.Speaking to reporters after her return from Port Blair, she said: ‘‘Relations between the ruling party and Opposition have never been so bad.after Independence. And it’s the government which is solely responsible for this.’’ Swaraj cited a few examples. ‘‘The Karnataka government has withdrawn all cases against Uma Bharati after she had stepped down as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. Secondly, the Railway Ministry has started another probe into the Godhra incident. What does the government want to prove? That the karsevaks on their own had set themselves on fire. Is it not ridiculous?’’ she said. Criticising the Centre for ordering a probe into the census controversy, Swaraj said it seemed the Government’s intention was to tamper with the report.
