Gul inaugurates BoP online ATM

CHANDIGARH, Feb 15: Gul Panag, Miss India – Universe ’99, inaugurated the country-wide online ATM facility at the Sector 9 branch of Bank of Punjab here today. The facility will help the account holders conduct instant transactions round the clock on their own.

Speaking on the occasion, Gul said that the branch had been very stylishly done up and looked like the lobby of a five-star hotel. The Chandigarh girl also opened her account with the bank, complete with an ATM, besides handing over ATM cards to three chosen customers.

Prior to the online ATM launch, Gul was conducted around the branch by well-known artist B.S. Malhans, besides senior officials of the bank. A fortnight-long exhibition of Malhans’ pen-and-ink drawings and decorative theme maps is currently on at the bank’s art gallery.
