Prince Harry has been demoted to a lower class at Eton College, the exclusive school west of London where he is completing his schooling, the Sun newspaper reported.
Harry, who is in the upper-sixth form and preparing for his A-level exams to gain entrance to a university, now has to do extra lessons four times a week with younger boys from the lower-sixth form.
The Sun yesterday said the move had been agreed between Eton and Prince Charles, after Harry failed a geography exam last year.
Harry is studying geography, art and history of art for his A-levels and needs at least two Bs and an A result to get into a good university.
‘‘Harry sits in with the lower-sixth, which is embarrassing. He will
continue to do his A-levels but also join the lower-sixth’s geography class,’’ a source at the elite school, where fees run to around $ 32,000 a year, told the tabloid.
