NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 14: Top seeded Harsh Chopra (FCI) won the battle between two veterans trying to make a strong comeback in the Delhi table tennis scene. In the final of the 20th Bal Bharati Open Table Tennis Tournament at Talkatora Stadium here today, left-handed Chopra defeated Kala in four games to add to the win he achieved over the former India-ranked player in the Summer Open.

Despite the year-long layoff, it is creditable for both Kala and Chopra to make it to the finals of several local tournaments. That speaks poorly of the available talent in the Capital despite the number of tournaments held every year.

Kala won the first game but faded away in the next three games when Chopra led from the start and maintained the lead.
