NEW DELHI: Chasing a victory target of 130, Delhi ended with 78 for three in their North Zone Merchant Trophy (u-16) league match against Haryana at Palam B ground here today. Skipper Rajat Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 51 (8×4, 79m).

Earlier resuming at their overnight score of 42 for 2, Haryana were dismissed for 174 in their second essay. Opener Bhuwnesh Sharma top-scored with 76 (9×4, 312m) while the wickets were shared by left-arm spinner Sahil Khullar (4 for 62), leg-spinner Abhishek Sharma (3 for 38) and medium pacer Nitin Aggarwal (2 for 17). Delhi travel to Patiala to play Punjab from November 21.
