The Bombay High Court has directed the Maharashtra government to file an affidavit on the whereabouts of Ghatkopar bomb blast accused Sayed Khwaja Yunus, who had mysteriously disappeared from police custody a year ago.
A petition filed by Sayed Khwaja Ayub, father of the accused, urging for a CBI probe into the incident, will come up for hearing before a high court bench tomorrow. The petition also urged for compensation from the government. —(PTI)
