HYDERABAD, SEPT 18: Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is contemplating to propose the name of Manohar Joshi, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, to the presidentship of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the general body meeting(AGM) at Jaipur on September 21 and 22.

However, the executive committee of HCA is vertically split over who would attend the AGM.

Fifteen of the 21 members in the committee had proposed Reddy’s name while the group led by former Hyderabad Ranji skipper M V Sridhar proposed HCA president GP Surana’s name.

The proposal of Sridhar’s group was approved by the committee in the absence of its secretary.
