HFCL to invest Rs 225 cr in Essar Commvision

MUMBAI, MAR 27: Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd (HFCL) is taking management control of Essar Commvision, the basic licence holder for the Punjab circle. The company is bringing Rs 225 crore by way of additional equity into Essar Commvision, which will take its stake up to 80 per cent and that of the Ruias to 10 per cent.

Nahata said the firm already had an order of Rs 2,000 crore of which around 25 per cent was from DoT projects and the rest from the private sector.
