As Australia settle down in their position of strength in Nagpur, benchwarmers Brad Hodge and Shane Watson are preparing for the long flight back Down Under.

The Australian selectors on Tuesday named Hodge and Watson as the ones who would fly back to take part in the domestic Pura Milk Cup, which is already underway. Confirming the move, Australian team media manager Jonathan Rose told The Indian Express, ‘‘Yeah, Brad and Shane would be leaving tonight. There could be more additions to that list.”

The other likely candidates who could join that flight back home are reserve spinners Nathan Hauritz and Cameron White.
