DIET: I BELIEVE that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I have a good one consisting of eggs, toast, a glass of juice and a bowl of cereal. If I’m shooting, I opt for idli and chutney. As the day progresses, I eat smaller meals. A plate of fruits at noon and lunch a little later: dal, vegetables, a non-vegetarian dish and some rice. My dinner also consists of vegetables and dal. I drink a lot of juices as the long working hours and lights on the sets dehydrate me. I also take my vitamins regularly. Sweets are my weakness—Indian mithais and chocolates—and I don’t control my craving, because we have only one life and should not deprive ourselves of anything.

EXERCISE: MY regime is quite haphazard. There are times when I just can’t go to the gym and sometimes I spend hours there. I walk and run on the treadmill for 45 minutes and follow this up with weights. I work one body part a day and work on my abs twice or thrice a week.

LIKE all Indian women, my problem is my hip area. I think jogging and swimming are the best exercises for this region.
