CHANDIGARH, March 8: Four members of a family were today booked under the Dowry Act on a complaint lodged by a Sector 37 resident Ritu Garg. She alleged that her husband Manoj Garg, father-in-law S. S. Garg, mother-in-law Savita Devi and brother-in-law Vishal Garg had maltreated her for dowry. She added that her father had given Rs 50,000 and another Rs 10,000 to her in-laws but they kept demanding more.
