ICICI Bank has reported a 32.23 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 361.18 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2003, compared to Rs 273.13 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Nestle India net up 72.4%
NEW DELHI: Nestle India has posted a 72.4 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 76 crore during the quarter ending September 30 and its domestic sales have gone up by 9.6 per cent to Rs 508 crore. Nestle’s exports between July-September grew by 1.7 per cent over the same period last year. Net sales for the quarter were Rs 569 crore compared to Rs 523.5 crore in the same period last year.
Tata Telecom net up 157%
NEW DELHI: Tata Telecom Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 8.57 crore in second quarter of this financial year compared to Rs 3.33 crore in the same period last year. The company recorded a revenue of Rs 94.57 crore compared to Rs 70.05 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 35 per cent.
GAIL’s net up 19 per cent
NEW DELHI: Gail India Limited has recorded a 19 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 487.12 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2003, as compared to Rs 406.13 crore for the same quarter last year. Sales for the first half of the current year rose to Rs 6,141.74 crore as against Rs 5,717.40 crore. Earning per share (EPS) climbed for the second quarter to Rs 5.76 as against 4.80 while for the first half, it stood at 10.08 per share.
DSCL gross net up 18%
NEW DELHI: The board of directors of DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd, have announced an interim dividend of 20 per cent on Thursday. The company earned gross profit of Rs 56.40 crore, a growth of 18 per cent over the corresponding period last year. The turnover was recorded at Rs 612.56 crore.
