Bangalore, June 16: The Indian Hockey Federation on Friday announced a list of 24 players to undergo the second and most crucial phase of Olympic preparations in Bangalore from July 2.
“We thought we should tell the players of their problems directly. There could not have been a better way than telling them on a one-to-one basis,” IHF president KPS Gill told ENS of the individual interviews. “I am certain the morale of each player when he walked out was much higher than when he walked in,” he added.
