MUMBAI, March 11: IIT, Powai, rallied to hold P J Club in a third division Rizvi League encounter, conducted by the Hockey Association of Mumbai (HAM), at the St Andrew’s ground, Bandra, today.

It was P J Club who dictated terms in the first-half and succeeded in wresting the lead in the 14th minute through a field goal by Lynden Z.IIT’S efforts bore fruit in the 49th minute when Amit B enabled them to share the spoils when he scored the equaliser through a field goal.

Chirag Ramakrishnan (+10), who notched up a break of 64, defeated C Fernandes (+50) 77-73, 90-52 in a second-round encounter of the Anthony D’Cruz Open handicap snooker tournament, sponsored by TBZ Jhaveri Bazar and Bharat Petroleum, at the Catholic Gymkhana.
