NEW DElHI, January 11: The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police have discovered a German offset printing press in West Delhi which was being used for the printing of infringed inlay cards for packing pirated audio cassettes.
Positives worth more than Rs 1 crore have been seized. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Railways) Karnal Singh said: “The police have arrested the accused, Manjit Singh, and a case was registered under the Copyright Act at the Patel Nagar police station. The printing press was been sealed immediately.”
According to the police, Manjit Singh admitted that he used to do the printing using the night and delivered the printed cards to his clients before sunrise.
