At the time when noted industrialists from Mumbai and actors like Sanjay Dutt made their appearance at Advani’s book release, the absence of Amitabh Bachchan left several people surprised. More so because Advani’s daughter Pratibha has cordial relations with Bachchan and he had been sent the invitation. What puzzled onlookers from opposition parties watching Advani’s big moment was that Bachchan had earlier attended a book-reading function when Jaswant Singh’s book was launched. Why then did he skip Advani’s book release? While many suggested the Samajwadi Party would have the answer, the possible reason was that the Bollywood star might have been busy shooting.
