Completed application forms will be accepted on November 16 and 17, at the Ranade Institute.Ban on TV serial demandedAhmednagar: Alleging that the Doordarshan's Marathi serial, `Zunj Bibatya Waghashi' portrayed teachers in poor light, the Ahmednagar District Primary Teachers Association here has demanded immediate ban on the serial. In a statement issued here, the association president Bhausaheb Dhere has also said that many incidents projected in the serial are outdated. Applicants can send one or two paintings in water colour, oil paintings, pen and ink, graphic and collage, below three by four feet in size. The paintings should reach Chitari Academy, second floor, Nehru Memorial Hall, between November 25 and November 30, between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm, and between 4.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Entry fee is Rs 25 each. Artists may apply for application form and prospectus in writing, enclosing a postal stamp of Rs 2.
