The Chandigarh Administration, in partial modification of its earlier orders, has nominated Rewa Gandhi, a local resident, as ex-officio member of the State Legal Services Authority, in place of Saroop Krishan, honorary secretary of Blood Bank Society.

Test on July 23
The aptitude test for admission to M.A. (I) in Urdu will be held on July 23 at 10.00 am. According to a press statement issued by M.Shakeel Khan, chairperson of the department, candidates can submit their forms for certificate, diploma and advanced diploma course upto July 27.

Guidance cell
The campus unit of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has announced that they will be setting up a guidance centre on the occasion of centralised admissions to nine social science departments at Punjab University. According to Neeraj Sharma, president of the campus unit of ABVP, the guidance camp shall become operational from July 23.
