PFA camp from today
Free anti-rabies vaccination and free consultation will be provided at the third annual People For Animals pet care camp that will be held on July 25 and 26 at the Free Mason’s Hall, opposite Public School in Sector 18. Daily timings are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The camp also features a Bazaar of pet care products and books, lectures on animal first-aid and attractive prizes.

PU B.Ed test results on July 29
The result of the B.Ed entrance test conducted by Punjab University is likely to be declared on July 29. According to a press statement issued by Controller of Examinations, Sodhi Ram, joint interviews for admission to the B.Ed course are proposed to be held from August 3 to 5 at Government College of Education, Sector 20.

ITI students complain of wrong paper
Students appearing in the examination of Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Sector 28 have complained that they were given the wrong question paper in their examination of Machiner Grinder which was conducted yesterday. In a complaint to the Punjab State Technical Education Board, they have stated that following complaints they were provided the correct question paper after two hours, and added that due to this error, they could not attempt the paper fully.

NSUI announces campus unit
The president of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), Harmohinder Singh Lucky today announced the campus unit of NSUI. Sartaj Singh Gill has been nominated the president. Meanwhile Lucky has thanked the PU Vice Chancellor for not listing the recent proposed hike in Amalgamated Fund and Building Fund in the agenda of university syndicate.

Election
NYC office-bearers nA meeting of the National Youth Federation (NYF) today declared the organisational structure of the federation. Harvinder Singh Bajwa and Tarsem Singh Bhangoo have been elected as senior vice presidents of the federation, while Pardeep Chauhan and Surinder Singh are the vice presidents.

An 11-member executive committee and 21-member working committee has also been announced.
