Rs 7 cr for PCMT from big brother
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Transport (PCMT) which is in dire financial straits will finally get the much-needed financial assistance of Rs seven crore from its parent body the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to buy 70 new buses.

The civic standing committee which had been putting off the financial assistance for the last one month, on Tuesday gave its approval after a lengthy discussion on measures for improving the services and increasing the revenue. The proposal will again be discussed at the general body meeting next month. The proposal is likely to be approved immediately after which modalities for getting the buses will begin.
