As the UPA-Left panel on the nuke agreement discussed dates for the next meeting, it was felt that October 14 could be reserved for a round in case talks on October 9 proved inconclusive. It then occurred to one of the members that Id fell on October 14. However, the politicians said they had no problem working on the day of the Muslim festival. And once the Left agreed, Saifuddin Soz, the only Muslim in the panel, could say little. The CPI’s A B Bardhan, however, was kind enough to spare a thought. “We can take care of Soz sahab,” he smiled.
