In another match, Vikrant Chadha defeated Andrei Youznyi (Rus) 6-1, 6-4. Vishaal Uppal scraped past V Sridhar 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) and Saurav Panja beat Mustafa Ghouse 6-3, 6-1.

MANDI (HP): Bihar crowned themselves the new National junior (under-19) football champions by lifting the BC Roy Trophy after a 5-4 sudden-death tie-breaker win over Assam today. Assam have finished runners-up in all four finals they have entered.
