NEW DELHI: A four-member Indian team will represent the country in the ITF Southern Asian (14 and under) tennis circuit to be held in Rajshahi (Bangladesh) from December 6 to 20.

Team: Boys: P Vishal and Rohan Ghajjar. Girls: Megha Vakharia and Sasha.

The All India Tennis Association has also selected a two-member team for the ITF junior Hopman Cup scheduled to be held in Perth from January 1 to 7 next year. Team: Vijay Kannan and Uzma Khan.

NEW DELHI: Indian boxers returned with four bronze medals and finished sixth overall in the China Cup international held at Beijing from November 24 to 30.

Light-fly Dinko Singh, featherweight Rajeev Kumar, Gurcharan Singh (light heavy) and Shivram Choudhury (heavyweight) won medals.

MUMBAI: Skipper Sanjay Manjrekar will lead the 15-member West Zone team for the Duleep Trophy tournament that got under way earlier this week. West meet the winner of the quarter-final between East and North in the semi-final at Vishakhapatnam from December 9-13.

Team: Sanjay Manjrekar (captain), Wasim Jaffer, Jatin Paranjpe, Amol Muzumdar, Vinod Kambli, Sairaj Bahutule, Paras Mhambrey (all Mumbai), Nayan Mongia (wicket-keeper), Sukhbir Singh, Jacob Martin, Connor Willams (all Baroda), Milind Kulkarni, Hrishikesh Kanitkar (both Maharashtra), Bhavin Mehta (Gujarat) and Himanshu Kotak (Saurashtra).
