NAIROBI, SEPT 28: Buoyant after their crushing eight wicket victory over formidable South Africa in the opener, India take on hosts Kenya tomorrow, keen to seal their final berth within the distance in the LG Cup quadrangular tournament here.Boosted by victory over the West Indies in Toronto that ended their year-long title drought earlier this month, the Indians are on a roll and on current form should easily get past Kenya at the Nairobi Gymkhana. The slow pitches aiding spin has given the Indians a distinct edge in the tournament and if their smashing win over Kenya in the World Cup league is any indication of relative strengths, they should wrap up the match without much ado.But stand-in skipper Ajay Jadeja does not underestimate the capabilities of Kenya, who showed a late fightback against Zimbabwe before going down by three wickets in their opener.``We cannot afford to be complacent, it's very important we maintain the winning streak. Besides, the Kenyans are well conversant with theconditions here and cannot be taken lightly,'' he said after nets at the Ruaraka Club here. The Indian players took a day off yesterday, the only rest day during the league phase of the tournament.India are unlikely to disrupt the winning combination with debutant Vijay Bharadwaj too having displayed his competence. Kenya will be keen to impress at home.Coached by former Indian batsman Sandeep Patil, the African side is likely to make a few changes. Steady middle-order batsman Alpesh Vadher looks certain to find a place in the eleven. The presence of Vadher, who performed creditably in the World Cup with knocks of 54 against Zimbabwe and 73 not out against Sri Lanka, will definitely bolster the batting which crumbled after a good start against Zimbabwe.
