India might overtake China economically : NIC

India could overtake China as the world’s fastest growing economy in the long run according to some experts, says a study by the national intelligence council (NIC), the think tank of all the intelligence agencies of the US, including the CIA. ‘‘India lags economically behind China, nevertheless… it has well-entrenched democracy, possesses working capital markets and world-class firms in high-tech sectors, which China has yet to achieve.
