MUMBAI, February 22: Jockey M Narredu alerted Indiscretion to shoot ahead from the start and confidently maintain the lead till the end of the 1400m track in The Poonawalla Breeders Million, the richest event on the turf, today at Mahalakshmi. She was followed by vastly improved Absolute Power. It was Indiscretion’s fifth successive win.

Much was said at the time of presentation ceremony in the paddock but none remembered CD Katrak, the actual trainer of both the winner and runner-up. However the contenders were saddled by trainer Vinayak as Katrak is under suspension.

16 race-goers correctly nominated the first four placed runners in the prestigious event and were awarded fabulous prizes by Dr CS Poonawalla, the co-sponsor of the event and chairman of RWITC.
