BHOPAL, Nov 26: At a time when elections appear round the corner, the state BJP finds itself battling dissidence in the commercial capital of Indore with two out of four party MLAs on war path. The dissidence assumes significance since two national office bearers Kailash Vijayavargiya and Sumitra Mahajan are from Indore which has also otherwise been a party stronghold. BJYM national vice president Vijayvargiya and his close associate L S Gaud, MLA have been served show cause notices after their group boycotted two important meetings.

Vijayavargiya is at loggerheads with party’s national general secretary Mahajan which has made a vertical division of partymen. Nine corporators have also been served notices for not attending a meeting convened decide on fund collection for Amrit Mahotasava of Kushabhau Thakre.
