PANCHKULA, March 25: Chandimandir Police yesterday apprehended three members of an inter-state gang of transporters involved in duping traders of their consignments.
Truck owner Satish Kumar and two drivers Karnail Singh and his brother Shamsher Singh, have been held and a case has been registered.
Various documents and number plates were recovered from their possession. They have been remanded to judicial custody until March 27. Police recovered cement, rice and cattle feed worth Rs 4 lakh stolen and dumped near Kot Billa. The gang used to dupe traders using stolen truck registration papers.
