The cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) may be a lucrative proposition but India discard Mohammad Kaif feels no cricketer worth his salt would think it more important than donning national colours.
“It’s OK to play in IPL but the satisfaction and pride that you get by playing for India is unbeatable. You just cannot compare IPL with playing for your national team,” said Kaif, who will play for Jaipur franchise team in the league starting April 18.
