The occasion was a gala music evening to kick start the launch of DadA Music and needless to mention the pitch was really feverish with the presence of the action star of Hindi cinema.

Exclaimed Akshay Kumar “Oh such a beautiful crowd of Delhi”. While talking to the select gathering at the launch in the serene backdrop of Purana Qila (Old Fort) he said that he never saw such a calm crowd.

Said Akshay “You never sit so calm in our movies as you were here.” As he acclaimed that the beautiful music touched his heart and soul he asked the excited people around in a loud voice “Did you like it”.

Akki was not the only one who basked in the delight of the unique evening, which presented an ambient electronic music performance by Sattyananda performing in sync with a vibrant laser light show.

Ashwin Bhojwani, who came to enjoy the music said that he found the music very soothing and different in its appeal. Meena Bhojwani who accompanied her husband for the grand evening said “Oh! You just can’t explain it. It is unique with it cultural affection and classical themes.”

Tarun was more of a praise of the laser show in the archaic settings which gave meaning to the whole programme. Shruti another sparkling face from the gathering of music admirers said that she expects many good music albums from the launch in the coming times.

Gurmeet Singh Business Director of music divisions of the organizer group said that DadA gives you the liberty to see the meaning. DadA per se he explained, connotes a sort of revolution in the field of musical art, visual art and graphic design. Singh said that his endeavor is to use the available latest technology of the present times to bring forth the hidden treasures of music and melody.

When Gurmeet was asked about the reason for inviting Akshay Kumar as the chief guest, he said that Akshay is the youthful face of the entertainment industry today. Since we wanted to relate our music to the tastes of the young, he naturally became our obvious choice.

Vibha Hooda another admirer at the evening was exhaustive in her praise of the music as she quipped, “It opens you up straight from the heart and penetrates deeper into your emotions and your inner feelings, which makes it a real delight.”
