SOLAPUR, Sept 1: BJP chief Kushabhau Thakre suggested that the Congress take the remarks of Pramod Mahajan on Sonia Gandhi lightly and said that it was not a personal attack but “halka fulka majak.”
Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday at a hotel, Thakre backed Pramod Mahajan and said that whatever Mahajan uttered was right. He said that Congress pulled down the government of Vajpayee as they were afraid of his popularity and good work. He asked how can a party that has always made the Centre unstable, provide a stable government?
Thakre also criticised Sonia Gandhi for her claim for the post of Prime Minister and said that she has no experience of politics and administration so it would be improper if the mandate goes in her favour. “Our party will prove to be the dark horse in this election,” he claimed, adding that the firm diplomacy of Vajpayee during the Kargil conflict made many Islamic countries back India.
