CHANDIGARH, January 13: ITI Qualified Worker’s Association has decided to observe a strike on January 21 on a call given by Joint Action Committee of MC Employees workers to protest the unfavourable attitude of the Chandigarh Administration towards the employees transferred from the Administration to the Corporation. The leaders of the association have alleged that the Administration has turned deaf ears towards their just and genuine demands. The president of the association, Piara Singh Kang has demanded that illegally and arbitrarily transferred employees be treated on deputation and daily workers to be brought on regular cadre.
