PUNE, March 24: The standing committee of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) today approved the civic administration’s proposal to acquire land and properties towards widening the major thoroughfares of Jungli Maharaj Road and Shankersheth Road.

Standing committee chairman Arun Dhimdhime told media persons that the 100 ft J M Road would be widened from Pune Stock Exchange at Deccan to Jungli Maharaj Mandir chowk to 120 ft.
