NEW DELHI, September 27: An unbeaten 75 of 66 balls by Jagdish Singh, studded with two sixes and seven boundaries, helped Subhania Club beat Ajmal Khan Club by 68 runs in the Sheetala Pradad Jain memorial cricket tournament at the Mohan Meakin ground here today.Electing to bat on a pitch that was batsman friendly, Subhania notched up 237 for four in the allotted 40 overs with Jagdish spearheading the batting. Besides Jagdisxh, Shahbaz Mobin made 68 with three sixes and four fours. Useful contributions also came frrom Hanish Aror and Amit Sharrma.Jitender And Naresh Kumar shared the wickets that fell.In reply, chasing a none-too-modest total Ajmal Khan Club wilted under the constant pressure of left-arm spinner Kundan Meha to fold at 169 in 37.2 overs.The under- 19 Delhi bowler captured fourr wickets giving away just 26 runs while Saurabh Gulia (3 for 20) was the other main wicket taker.
