Independent legislators in Uttar Pradesh Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya and Dhananjay Singh, arrested on charges of threatening BJP MLA Puran Singh Bundela, were shifted to Fategarh jail in Farrukhabad Sunday night, official sources said. The two were produced before a magistrate here Sunday and remanded to judicial custody till November 8.
The two had been arrested after Bundela lodged an FIR accusing them of threatening him with dire consequences if he did not return to the dissidents’ fold, police said.
