DOHA, March 7: Jeev Milkha Singh boosted his chances of a good finish in the $ 1 million Qatar Masters with an encouraging four under par 68 in the third round at the Doha Golf Course today.Jeev fired six birdies, including a monstrous 50-foot putt on the par five 647-yard ninth hole for a three-round total of 212 - an effort that put him in a better frame of mind before the final round. The ninth hole set the tone for a much better show on the back nine as he birdied the 10th and the 11th on a day which saw him bogey the very first hole and later the eighth.Jeev was even par after the front nine, but displayed remarkable consistency later on which was best exemplified when he brilliantly birdied the 14th, a hole which he had bogeyed in both the earlier rounds.
