
NEW DELHI, July 17: Himansh P Kala of Central Bank of India and Ekta Bhambri of Indian Airlines have been given the top billing in the men’s and women’s singles sections respectively as the local table tennis scene resumes after the summer holidays with the inaugural Suzuki Open Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled to begin at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium tomorrow.
Anshu Adlakha and Pratima Sayal are the top seeds in boys and girls singles respectively while Shantanu Aggarwal and Pratima lead the field in the sub-junior section. The finals will be held at 5.30 pm on Tuesday, July 21. Prizes will be given away by Mool Chand Chowhan, secretary, Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI).
