LUCKNOW, March 12: The crisis which gripped the Kalyan Singh Government after three Jantantrik Bahujan Samaj Party (JBSP) Ministers of State resigned in protest against the swearing-in of party MLA Jai Narain Tiwari as a Cabinet Minister was resolved Wednesday night.

While two of the JBSP ministers, Yashwant Singh and Sukhpal Pande, agreed to withdraw their papers after talks with partymen yesterday, Shevendra Singh remained adamant till late last night.

The deadlock was undone after Shevendra along with the other ministers had a meeting Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, who, according to reliable sources, agreed to allot independent portfolios to some JBSP Ministers of State.
